• Basketball for Shorties! (Young Students)

  Funded Dec 6, 2013

  We, as a school and my department, are so thankful for your generosity to our school and our students. We are in such need for this equipment and the students are really going to enjoy themselves when they get installed.

  We have so many students that are interested in sports, athletics, and games. This generous gift from you will add so much of a positive impact on our students.

  We have had so many students ask about basketball and when we are going to play. I have put off our basketball unit to later in the year, because I had to figure out how to play basketball without hoops. Now, I will not have to do that.

  The students will love to be able to shoot and actually see the ball go through the hoop. That is such and encouraging thing for the kids to experience.

• Fore! (Golf Equipment)

  Words cannot explain how much we are thankful and grateful for your generosity to our school and students. Your gift in paying for our new equipment will be a great avenue for students to get excited about new sports, athletics, and being active.

  Our students are very excited to hear that they will be receiving brand new golf equipment. They cannot wait to try our new equipment and have fun and excitement in a whole new way.

  Golf is such a different and exciting new way to look at sports and skillwork. It takes muscle control, patience, and practice to become really good at this game. Our students will learn golf skills, game techniques, and etiquette.

  This project will boost morale for the students who do not possess great skills with the big sports, and who are not good with their feet. This will be a game using more hand-eye-club coordination. And it's super fun!
