• OH NO! New Laptop Needed!

  Funded May 5, 2021

  Thank you for putting education first for our children, our future. Your donations always go a long way, we are able to receive materials , that we would have to purchase out of pocket. My laptop gave up on me last year, when we were teaching virtually, it was my connection with my students. I was using an old one until I decided to post the project and it was immediately funded. Thank you for all your help. Every little bit helps whether its $1 or $20, after your generosity I was able to get back on track virtually with my students.”

• Smile for the Picture!

  Thank you for your kind donations, although this school year did not end how we expected it to end, it always nice to cherish the school year we did have before the pandemic. The parents and students were happy that we were able to capture a final picture of the year! I took a picture of each student and placed it on a card I made , saying, "I survived Virtual Learning 2020" A year that we will never forget. Of course, this could not be possible without your help! Thank you for always helping us achieve our dreams whether big or small, Donor Choose is always there to help!”

• Drop Everything and Read! Part 2

  Thank you for all your donations! My students were so excited to read the new books. I believe I have instilled a passion for reading, with all the books that we have received. My students prefer to read a book rather than play outside, and this was my goal when I wrote this project. I had my non readers begin to pick up these books and enjoy reading. This would have not been possible without your help. You have made a difference in my students lives by contributing to their education and that is something that has impacted my students in a positive way. Thank you”

• Oh, The Places We Will Go!

• Organization, the Key to a Successful Year!

  Thank you for your generous donations! The resources I received have been extremely helpful in means of classroom organization. The students are able to file and keep their work organized. For the first time in many years everything in my classroom has a "home". All my materials are organized and easily accessible for my students.

  Since my materials were received right before school started my students did not really see the materials as they arrived, but during "Meet the Teacher " parents and students got a glimpse of my classroom and they loved it!

  Thanks to you, I am looking forward to keeping an organized classroom throughout the school year”

• Drop Everything and Read!!!

  First I would like to say THANK YOU for your generous donation, it came as a big surprise to us! My students were so excited when I told them that there were very generous people and they had completely funded our project for classroom books for our library.

  I had taught my students this school year that reading can be fun,I had many struggling readers at the beginning of the school year and toward the end of the year they had become fluent readers.

  This is where I had the idea to make a project for books tailored to their interests, and once we were funded the love of reading soared in my classroom. My students were eager to read and enjoyed buddy reading and discussing books with their friends.

• Memories for Life!

  First, I would like to say I am very grateful for your donations. Although my specific project is to make t shirts and memory books for the end of the school, I have begun to experiment with the Cricut air 2 machine. At first my students were not sure of the purpose of the Cricut Air 2 machine, but then I explained to them about the projects I have planned for them. They were very excited and said ," That's so cool!!!!" Awesome" "We get to design our own shirts??"

  I began experimenting with the machine myself, so I could learn to navigate it and teach my students and I was able to make Valentine's Day bookmarks and other crafts for my classroom.

• Fueling Our Brains With Technology!

  First off, I would like to say THANK YOU for being so generous , and providing so many resources for students all over the Unites States . My student have benefited from the Chromebooks , they are able to work at their level of instruction . Some of my students are a little behind academically and having these Chromebooks helped them work on these skills.

  Also, the printer with ink was a crucial need for my classroom , I am able to print resources in my classroom and do not have to wait for copies to be done in the school office.
