  • Give My Students A Voice

    Your generous donation has awakened my class! I now have students volunteering to participate in class, who previously did not. Students love the Qball+ Throwable Wireless Microphone System. The interactive aspect of the microphone motivates them to be involved in class. They love being able to throw and catch the microphone to each other. The Qball + Throwable Wireless Microphone System has helped my students to be heard in class, even with masks on. I am so grateful for your generous donation.”

    Thank you for your generous donations. My students now have seating options that give them the opportunity to fidget more but still remain seated. I have seen first hand how much these stools have helped several of my students concentrate better and behave better.

    Furthermore, the 3-d shapes the students will be using next month will give them a better understanding of what surface area is and how it is calculated.

    This classroom project was brought to life by Neukom Family Foundation and 15 other donors.
The fold and learn geometric shapes will help my students visualize what those shapes look like unfolded. This is important because students have to find the area of each side and then find the total surface area. They will use these skills to develop the algorithms to find surface area of these objects. Every year I have several ADHD students in class with few seating options for them. The active learn seats will give these students an opportunity to be seated but move and work off some of the energy the have. This will help them to stay focused on the learning going on in class.

About my class
