Thank you so much for your donation. My students will greatly benefit from the use of technology in the classroom. Through using the Kindle Fire Tablet my students will be able to access various Internet resources and e-books that enhance their language learning experience. This tool will create an interactive and fun educational environment for my students.

My students come from a wide variety of ethnic and racial backgrounds, yet they share the commonality of low socio-economics. They are bright, brave and expressive. They are challenging, sometimes angry but always passionate. Some have been exposed to barbarity in unimaginable ways and all face the day bright-eyed in the face of adversity. They run the gamut in age as well. Some of them are little five year-olds attending their first days of school and others are eighth graders preparing for high school. My students are a diverse group of language learners that require more than what can currently be provide with the limited resources available at our school.
