STEAM in the Music Room
Funded Sep 7, 2018Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom project, STEAM in the Music Room. Because of your donation, our project offers opportunities for my students to experience music and technology in new and fun ways. Technology is important in the schools, and this device allows me to incorporate more technology into my music program.
This new product, the Skoog device, is so exciting to my students because it is a hands-on adaptive learning tool that engages all types of learners. Students can experience music and technology through tactile, visual, and aural sensory learning experiences.

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.Literacy and Language Development Through Music!
Funded Oct 19, 2017Thank you so much for your donations of books towards our music classroom library. My students are going to benefit greatly from all of these new resources. The new books will engage students in visual and aural ways to learn text, comprehension and new vocabulary. This will help develop more language, which is one of the major goals for my students who have special needs.
As a music teacher, I use books in whole group instruction during sing-along circle time. I also plan to use the books to design a music listening/literacy center, where my students can explore the new books as they listen to the song accompaniment on our classroom iPads.
The first new book that we are using is "Winter Wonderland", and the students have really enjoyed it! We can't wait to explore many others this Spring! Thank you so much for all you have done for my students!”
