Learn The German Language

What a great way to get everyone involved in the process of learning. Donations from those directly and indirectly involved have helped to make a difference. A difference you have made, as the books we received made learning the language easier and more enjoyable for students. Students now have a book they can take home, where they can continue to practice. Each book came with an audio CD of authentic German speakers using the language correctly, with lessons designed for students to work through. My students have been using the books and many are doing much more than required - already speaking in complete sentences. Not too bad considering our actual class time commitment is only a couple hours per week. They are speaking and understanding the language more and more each day.

We are grateful to be able to start bringing back languages to the middle school level in our district. As a result of your donations and materials, other teachers asked and received permission to teach other introductory language classes in other buildings. Besides German in another middle school, Spanish is also being offered. Languages are being offered in the high schools, but this helps us get an earlier jump at mastering the language.

As you can see, your donations were very helpful towards our German classes. My students are studying the language every night and enjoy the challenge learning a language offers. For some it is their hardest class. They are taking their time and using the materials to their advantage. Some students as a result of the class have improved parent/child relationships as father and daughter learn the language together. I have loved this aspect of the class and the energy many students are putting into their studies. Thanks again for your help. It has made and continues to make a difference. Danke sehr!”
