Historic Maps - An Inspiration For All Learners!

Thank you very much. Because these maps span many centuries, they will be very helpful with a host of different history curricula, from our study of Christopher Columbus to our studies of New Amsterdam and the original thirteen colonies of the United States. In addition, these books will help the children to continue establishing an understanding of the history of cartography (and the development of modern technology in general). Thanks again!

My students are a multi-ethnic, multiracial, and socioeconomically diverse group. They are 3rd graders, and among them are several children with special needs. Our school is a small, progressive public school in a big city in New York State.
