My students attend a Title 1 school. Many of the students do not have the support they need at home or come from a home in which English is a 2nd language. They are eager to learn and to develop skills necessary in which they can live a successful and productive life. I have many kids who are struggling with reading and who need to be exposed to the world in a meaningful way. I also have many students who love to read and who need to be given more choices in reading literature so they don't get bored. I also have 2 students with autism. They are both very different but have very special skills. I also have many children with behavioral problems and need a lot of structure in the classroom. Each student I have has unique abilities and talents and each one of them also has a desire to learn.
