Supplies and Snacks for the Year!
Funded Aug 23, 2018Thank you for your generous donation that has helped my students' focus in school.
These snacks have helped my student focus during lessons during the long stretches of the day. They feel more energized when they learn and perform their tasks. They stopped asking when lunch is but instead when snack time is. It is their favorite time when they get to recharge and chat with their peers and teachers. I noticed they are able to focus more during lessons and therefore, able to perform their tasks better. They feel much happier in school.
The school supplies help facilitate our learning in all subject areas and we are able to take it home for family projects and homework.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and I hope you will continue to make an impact on the lives of many students from Donor's Choose.”

As you know, a clean learning environment makes learning more enjoyable and the classroom more inviting. A warm and welcoming environment fosters a love of learning. However, without adequate resources, such as a vacuum, it's difficult to teach responsibility and duties.
Within weeks of receiving the new vacuum with your donation, I have noticed my students are eager to clean and do their jobs. They feel proud that they are keeping their second home clean and orderly. Furthermore, my students are eager to help at home as well due to your generous contribution.

The Hunger Games
Funded Sep 24, 2015Dear Donor:
Thank you for your generous donation that has helped cultivate my students' interest in school by helping them explore their creativity and hone-in on their social skills through the use of building blocks and games.
Playtime enhances a child's creativity and cognitive skills that academics may not allow---and makes school pleasurable as well. Creative play should be an integral part of a child's education; it teaches them to appreciate themselves, invoke their curiosity, and work cooperatively with others. Also, it sharpens their analytical, verbal, and creative skills, which are vital life skills for achieving success. It affords children the opportunity to socialize and express their thoughts and feelings in a manner different from the traditional story composition and written word.
Within weeks of receiving the new building blocks purchased with your donation, I have noticed my students realizing their talents in creative areas like designing and constructing buildings, figuring out the problems and solutions for their structures with a peer. They learned the importance of sportsmanship. In turn, my students felt school was more enjoyable and they look forward to creative playtime.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and I hope you will continue to make an impact on the lives of many students from Donor's Choose.

Building Blocks For Creativity!
Funded Nov 18, 2013Thank you for your generous donation that has helped make learning English and reading more enjoyable.
An ESL student's primary years are crucial to strengthening their English language skills while fostering a love of reading. However, without adequate resources, such as audio players and audio books, it's difficult to maintain their interest in reading while learning a new language.
Within weeks of receiving the audio players and audio books purchased with your donation, I have noticed improvements in my students' reading and language skills. Furthermore, my students who have attention problems are able to read alone and sustain their stamina for a longer period of time. Your donation has made an impact with all the students in my classroom.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and I hope you will continue to make an impact on the lives of many students from Donor's Choose.”

Funded Aug 30, 2012Thank you so much for your generous donation. I am so grateful of donors like you who want to make an impact in children's lives. My students were overwhelmed with joy when I told them that they would be receiving new books to read because of your generosity. When the new books arrived, they were excited and eager to read the books during independent reading.
As you know first grade is a very crucial year to introduce children to the joys of reading and what better way than to introduce them to new character series they can relate to while improving their literacy skills. It is very important for children to choose books they want to read for their enjoyment while strengthening their literacy skills.
Your generosity made a difference in the lives of my students who needed these books to help strengthen their literacy skills. On the behalf of my class, I would like to thank you for your generous donation.”

Funded Aug 25, 2011Thank you for your generous donation that has helped strengthen my students' literacy skills. Your donation has enabled them to improve their reading and writing skills.
As you know, a child's primary years are crucial to fostering a love of reading and writing across different literary genres. However, without adequate and varied resources, it can be difficult to meet a child's academic needs while simultaneously maintaining their interest.
Within months of receiving the new literacy tools purchased with your donation, I have noticed improvements in my students' reading levels and writing skills. Furthermore, my students have demonstrated a high level of independence when they use these tools acquired directly as a result of your generous contribution. These tools allow my students to be in charge of their own learning therefore making learning more engaging and meaningful. Without your generosity, my students would never have the opportunity to discover the world the way they want to.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and I hope you will choose to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of many students from Donor's Choose. ”
