My students live in a small town of around 4,000 people. They are surrounded by redwoods and farms and they still ride the bus to school. Their lives seem idyllic from a distance. Many of my students live in poverty. They live far from the convenience of the city and the district doesn't have a lot of funding which property taxes in higher density areas provide. This means that many of the basic needs schools have are not able to be provided. Thank you for your support in helping provide My young learners with everything they need to succeed.
