Will You Sign My Yearbook?
Funded Oct 12, 2012This is just a small token of our gratitude for your generous donation to our yearbook class. The cameras and software that you donated are incredible tools for our students. We are using the cameras to capture memorable events and moments of students' experiences at Gotham. The software will be used to design and compile the pictures into artfully crafted pages that will be published as the school's yearbook.
Our school is constantly fighting to find money in the budget for technology to be used in the classroom, so with your help our students would never have had access to these professional tools. For students who are entering into a world of fast changing technology, access and practice with such tools is essential.
Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United States would go without.”

Learning To Write In A Flash!
Funded Feb 26, 2009This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. The flash drives that you donated have helped my students keep track and develop a sense of ownership of their writing. Many of them had never had any experience using a flash drive, and now most of them are quite proficient. My tenth graders are using their drives regularly, not only to save their essays for English class, but they have also been putting them to work in their social studies and science classes as well. Some students have even saved their resumes on their flash drives already.
Most of my students do not have computers or printers at home, and with your help you have brought them one step closer to integrating technology not only into their academic lives, but into their daily lives as well. Being proficient and comfortable using computers for writing and researching are key skills that my students will certainly need and use throughout their years in high school and beyond.
Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the United Stated would go without. ”
