  • Remote Learning Help

    This has been one of the most challenging times during my 19 years of teaching. My old laptop crashed, and I needed help to teach remotely. This donation has helped out my education and the students in ways I can never imagine. Some students are now blended (they come into school while others stay home), some students cannot afford to bring in devices. One of the pictures that I uploaded was of a student who cannot afford a portable device, and now that she comes back to school, she can use the donated device while I use the desktop—the relief in her face and mine knowing that she would participate in class alleviated her stress. I cannot thank everyone enough for the donation. In a world where there's a lot of uncertainty and problems, there is hope with people like you!”

    Our school has old outdated lap tops but with your generous donation I was able to produce quality technological based lessons. This is the first year that my school offered an advanced placement course to 10th graders. I wanted to make sure that my students have a great opportunity to not only succeed in this course, but on the Advanced Placement exam that the College Board administers to all students in this course.

    Thanks to both parties, I was able to transform my lessons into a variety of interdisciplinary lessons such as power-point, movie clips and also sample essays from the college board. It was a challenging year creating a new curriculum of lessons for one of the hardest courses 10th graders will have to take. However, your gift, the notebook computer gave 23 10th graders an opportunity to succeed in Advanced Placement World History. I will be always indebted for your generosity and so will my students for years to come! ”
