I'm a fifth grade teacher with 26 students. There are a variety of different students with different learning styles. Many need to be up and engaged in kinesthetic learning activities. Not every child learns by paper and pencil activities. Teachers need to be able to tap into their children's multiple intelligence to be able to access their student's desire to learn. Latest research studies have shown that students need learn using multiple intelligence methods. "And there is now a massive amount of evidence from all realms of science that unless individuals take a very active role in what it is that they're studying, unless they learn to ask questions, to do things hands on, to essentially re-create things in their own mind and transform them as is needed, the ideas just disappear." Howard Gardner
