We are requesting items that will help my students work on both their academic learning as well as their social and emotional learning. The cash register will provide an opportunity for students to work together. The books will continue to provide opportunities to talk about our emotions at our morning meeting and afternoon reading time. These resources help me as a second-year teacher build my classroom so that students with varying abilities can thrive. I have spent hundreds of dollars in my classroom already this year but could use help in continuing to find these creative resources for my classroom. Thank you for your consideration.
