My students come from a low income community in the Bronx, where they have scarce resources. Despite the needs, they are a very highly motivated and excited to learn when the use of advanced technology, such as computers, are incorporated in learning. It is a necessity for them to have access of technology in school because some of my students don’t have one of their own. As an effort to incorporate technology the school has adopted an excellent program called Accelerated Math.
