I am asking for support in getting light covers for the big florescent lights in my public school classroom. Many of my students have special needs and medical needs. Having the bright lights on all the time during the day can set off severe migraines, headaches and can cause behavior disruptions for everyone in my class. I am trying to support my students with using soft lighting and need this project to help me with getting the monster overhead lights dimmed a bit to cut the harsh glare that they give off. With a calmer atmosphere that the light filters will help create I will be able to better serve my special needs students and those with medical concerns.
