The students at our school come together from incredibly diverse backgrounds: from the immigrant family just arriving here with nothing to students with more affluence. We have close to 70% students whose first language is not English, and at least half of the school is on the Federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program (low income). We have a wonderful community where on a daily basis I witness "Diversity Working".
