Students today are digital learners and putting the human body in their hands in a digital format is an incredible way for them to learn anatomy and physiology. Having Chromebooks in my classroom allows them this opportunity. In my class, we will be using Chromebooks to access websites like edheads.com and Visible Body that allow students to perform virtual surgeries and organ dissections, manipulate models of body organs and structures in 3D, and complete labs that help them understand how entire systems function. These hands-on activities help them better understand and apply the health science concepts they are learning by giving them real-world applications of the material.

About my class
