My 4th graders attend a magnet school for gifted and high achieving students, which received National Blue Ribbon status last year. They come from all areas, and represent a true mix of races, religions, financial backgrounds, and neighborhoods. The common thread that holds these students together is their high academic abilities. As 4th graders, they will be completing the 5th grade common core curriculum this year, with some working on an even more advanced curriculum.
