  • Organization is One Key to Succeed!

    Funded Feb 20, 2025

The donations have made a meaningful difference in my 7th grade classroom. With access to colored pens, composition notebook, white paper for foldables, and pencils, students are now more prepared, organized, and focused throughout the school day. The joy on their faces when they saw the new supplies was priceless—they were truly excited and grateful. It's amazing how something as simple as having the right tools can boost their confidence and motivation.

Our classroom feels more structured, positive, and supportive, and that energy is reflected in how students approach their learning every day. Thank you for helping create that environment!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Solorzano

  • Succeed in the New School Year!

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

My students have begun using the supplies that were donated as soon as they were delivered to the classroom. They were excited to begin their note taking in their notebooks with colored pen and colored pencils along with the new sharpener. They also appreciate all the white paper that was given in order for the students to continue with their foldable notes which they began glueing inside their notebook.

With the start of a new unit, they have been able to utilize the calculators provided to the class and this could not have been possible if it were not because of your generous offer donation to our classroom.”

  • Two Monitors Is the Way to Go!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you so much for your support in getting the monitor and the cable to assist my students learning through distance learning. With a monitor, in a zoom meeting I am now able to see all my students screens while able to display the lesson that we are learning for the day. I'm also able to view the main room when I decide to do break out rooms using another device, whereas I didn't have that option before. Break out rooms have worked out with ease because of the second monitor and the ability to collaborate with students and their groups.

My students also appreciate that, similar to classroom rules, they have to work on their assignments because I'm monitoring them and their work when using sites such as whiteboard.chat. I'm able to do this through the use of another monitor while on zoom and I'm able to display the classwork example, while viewing their work on the other screen and making comments at the same time.

Because of your generous donation, you've made distance learning engaging, enjoyable, and "cool" for my students. Thank you.”

  • Lets Continue Growing in Math Through Interactive Notebooks

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

My class and I want to thank you so much for your kindhearted donation. We were able to begin our new school year with high expectations due to all the printed copies we had already made for our interactive notebook. This was only possible through your donation of copy papers and glue sticks. We know that with these materials, it will be a while before we are in need of new supplies. We use them on a daily basis throughout the different classes and appreciate the support we have from donors who believe in students like us. Even though it's just paper, it goes a long way in a math classroom where students are expected to keep their interactive notebook for future use. We want to thank you once again for this tremendous donation and continue believing in the future.”

  • Let’s Get Building!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much for you tremendous donation. My former students and current students are extremely thankful for the supplies you generously donated to our class, which enabled us to finish/begin our project in due time. We were able to hand out power drills, table vise, soldering irons, soldering tip cleaners to individual teams, which enabled us to finish in a quicker manner, without sharing across grade level. Students made adjustments to there ROVs immediately when their ROVs needed adjustments and they were very excited to be able to complete their Robotics project for the semester. We wouldn't have been able to without your generous donations to our classroom.”

  • Interactive Notebooks for the Future!

    Funded Mar 29, 2016

    Dear Donors,

My students began the school year a bit unmotivated because they know that math is a subject that gets difficult to understand as they progress, but when they found out that we would be creating an interactive notebook to improve their interest in math, their faces lite up! Since the notebook distribution, my students have understood how important it is to bring necessary materials. With their notebook at hand, they are ready to master skills they are not so sure of through their daily warm ups; they begin to comprehend better through the foldable/graphic organizers we create weekly; they are improving in their note taking skills and their homework completion by bringing all their assignments in one single notebook. I am very thankful that you were able to see the vision I try to instill in my students. To believe in them and their ability to succeed in math, just like I believe in them. You have truly helped shape our future with the contributions you made to this project. With donors like you, we can continue changing the world.”

  • Basic School Supplies Needed to Continue Succeeding!

    Funded Mar 9, 2016

Thank you so much for you generous donation. You really made a difference in my students education. When my students found out our project got funded, they were thrilled because that meant we could continue creating our interactive notebook, begin working on our extended projects, and continue their interest in math.

As you can see, we have used our new resources to the fullest. We just finished a research project where students had to research their future occupation, calculate their monthly salary and determine how much of their monthly salary goes to taxes, rent, car payment, utilities and other necessities in life. They create a pie chart, filled a table chart out and presented to their classmates. They gained so much knowledge from this, thanks you, because we had the necessary school supplies to complete this assignment.

Once again, I'd like to thank you for bringing smiles to these faces as they are learning to their fullest potential.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Solorzano
