I teach 26 students ranging in the ages of 7-8. I have a diverse group of kids that come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. Their needs vary in many different ways within their families. I have a group of students being raised by single parents, some by grandparents and others with 2 parent families. Despite some tough situations, they come to school with smiles on their faces that brighten our classroom each day. My students love learning in creative and diverse ways and are eager to do their best each day. Our school has a great faculty and staff and is able to educate the whole child. There is not a week that our kids do not benefit from participating in art, music, P.E., library and computers. We are very fortunate to be able to provide these learning opportunities for our students.
