What Letter Does it Feel Like?
Funded Dec 31, 2023The Alphabet Sound Teaching Tubs has made such a difference while learning about letter sounds! The additional tactile real-life items really helped my students connect their letters to their corresponding letter sounds as opposed to only learning about letter sounds auditorily. My students have so much fun opening up each tub and identifying each item and realizing they all begin with the same phonetic sound!
This generous gift has made it possible for my students to understand and build their phonemic awareness! We appreciate your donation as this project will be an asset for our students in years to come!”

Let's Learn Through Touch!
Funded Dec 14, 2023Thank you again for making it possible for my students to learn their letters and numbers in the classroom! It has made such a difference being able to use touch along with hearing the names of letters and numbers. Giving my students the opportunity to feel how each letter and number looks while simultaneously introducing the letters and numbers in braille has been such a fun and exciting lesson! Learning their letters and numbers through touch, they were all fully engaged and were better connected to the lessons. Through this project, they are thriving learning their letters and numbers and look forward to learning about a new letter and number!”

For the Love of Reading!
Funded Dec 12, 2023Thank you for giving my students the opportunity to access their choice of reading books. Sometimes it is difficult to find a their preferred book readily accessible for them to read. As they get older, they become self conscious about reading books that are adapted for them and choose to listen to audiobooks instead. However with this project, my students are excited to be able to read any book they want!
This project has not only helped with only reading, books, but the reading stand and hand magnifier has been used to look at pictures for them to draw, such as their favorite Disney Characters and look and follow cooking recipes. The materials have become such an asset to our students. We are so grateful for your gift to make reading anything possible.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Cha
