My 11th and 12th graders are working hard to achieve our neighborhood public school's mission of preparing college ready young people. Most will be the first in their families to attend college. They are thrilled to be exploring the subject of psychology. They have loved learning about different theories--from Freud to Skinner to Maslow and debating the merits of each. Our small school focuses on creating strong bonds between students and teachers. It is in this climate of trust and mutual respect that students feel comfortable to challenge themselves academically.
