Our school is a Title 1 school, based on our high poverty level. We are Title 3 as well based on our high English language learner population, which is 75%. We have 92% of our students who receive free or reduced lunch due to low income/high poverty. Even with many odds stacked against them, my students are enthusiastic and eager learners. They come to a school that sometimes is the one place that they feel safe. They know that they will be educated, fed, and cared for by the incredible teachers and staff!
