The majority of my students are low income students that struggle with math. They all feel as though it is something that they will never be good at. They all believe that they will never pass the MSP to graduate. The students that I have had for more than one year have all gained the confidence needed to be successful, but are still in need of small group and individual help to catch up to the appropriate grade level. The students in my class are willing to work hard, because they can see the benefit of passing.
