  • Back to School Goodies

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

We are so grateful for receiving these items for our Family and Consumer Sciences Classroom. The supplies will impacts my students by allowing them to have everything they will need to be successful and work on projects without having to purchase them with their own money or rely on a parent to get them to and from the store.

Students are already so appreciative of the notebooks, folders, pens and pencils. They've needed these items to stay organized and complete work so having these items readily accessible has been so awesome.

Students will be using all of these supplies all year long to complete assignments, projects and assessments. We are so very thankful for the continued support from the State of Oklahoma.”

    With gratitude,

  • Expanding Our Skills in the Classroom

    Funded Feb 10, 2022

We have absolutely loved having the new resources in our classroom. The ice maker works so great and has allowed students to have access to the ice within the classroom to make certain recipes, like smoothies, ice creams, candy, etc. All the students were so excited to see the ice maker.

Students were all very excited to get the new crochet supplies and have been working on their projects when they finish their assignments. The instructor that was able to come and show them the basics was excited to see what all they had made with their new supplies. We are so very grateful for the opportunity to expand our skills with these new items.”

  • Virtual Learning

    Funded Aug 29, 2020

The keyboard cases for our ipads allow students to use the ipads similar to a laptop or computer. It gives them the option to type papers with ease and complete assignments on google classroom. They love the new cases and being able to use them during class. I can't wait to get more for my other ipads.

Your generosity is so appreciated and our students are always so grateful for the help you give to our school. We just want to say thank you again for helping out with our donors choose project.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Murray

  • Continue the Love of Literacy

    Funded Mar 2, 2020

Our students at Maysville all participate in the Accelerated Reader program which accounts for part of the english grade. Some students have been asking for more options because those that like to read have read most or all of the books in the library. We have several series of books that need a few titles to finish the series. With the funding of this project we were able to fulfill these requests! Our students will be so excited to have some new books in the library. Some students would read all day if they had the option! Again thank you for helping our school and contributing to our students education. You have helped continue the love of literacy in our students.”

  • Cooking Efficiently

    Funded Aug 29, 2019

By purchasing these microwaves for my kitchen lab, student will be able to learn to cook quickly and conveniently. I plan to use these to teach them healthier options even in the microwave. Lots of processed foods are high in sodium and fat but there are other alternatives that can be cooked in the microwave.

They were so excited to see new appliances for our classroom. Students will begin to cook in a few weeks and will start by covering nutrition in foods. We will then start preparing meals and develop skills that can be taken home and allow them to prepare meals for their families.”

  • Can't Hide Our Warrior Pride

    Funded Aug 29, 2018

The first aid kid and the portable speaker has been so beneficial to our cheer team. Having a first aid kit allows me to be able to keep my girls safe while they are performing and while we are traveling to different schools.

The portable speaker allows us to do the fight song dance at away games when our team scores a touchdown. We have also been able to be more productive at cheer practice each day. We are very excited about learning a new dance and being able to perform it at upcoming sporting events.

Thanks so much for allowing my students to have new technology and safety kits.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Murray

  • Going Online in the Classroom

    Funded Sep 17, 2017

We greatly appreciate your donations that funded our project. By purchasing enough charging cords and charger stations, my students are able to use the iPads during every class without having to worry about them being charged and ready to go. Most of my classes are taught with Ondine curriculum which requires the use of the iPads during class, so having them charged is so beneficial to the students.

Students in my financial literacy classes use an online curriculum that requires them to watch videos during each lesson. By having the earbuds for each students they are able to focus on their individual assignments and not be distracted by the others students that are working alongside them.

We are so very thankful for you generous spirit!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Murray

  • Hometown Warrior Pride

    Funded Aug 14, 2017

We are so thankful for your donations that allowed this project to be funded. All the items that were purchased through this grant will be used during practices and football games. The ice chests and coolers will allow the football team to keep drinks cold and available to the sports team. The footballs will allow for extra drills to be completed during practices and replace the footballs that are worn out. We are very thankful for our first aid kid and athletic tape that makes sure all our athletes will be taken care of if any injuries occur on the field.

Our players will be so excited to know that someone cares enough to support them in their competitions. Our players are excited about the upcoming season and are looking towards a gold ball this year at the State Championship!

Thanks again for caring enough to help our student athletes.”

  • Warmth, Care, and Hunger

    Funded Feb 8, 2017

Students are able to take home personal hygiene products or use during school to help stay clean and healthy. They are so appreciative that someone cares enough to help provide these essential items to them. It makes them feel like they matter when some don't ever have those feelings from other sources. By allowing students to not have to worry about their hygiene issues, they are able to focus more closely on their classroom work. It makes it so much easier to teach these students when they are not worried about other issues.

Thanks so much for caring for students that need our help!”

  • Getting Fit and Eating Fresh

    Funded Sep 13, 2016

We were able to use the fitness trackers to calculate our activities and allow students to actually see how much activity they do each day. They also tracked their calories burned and sleep patterns.

The knives in our kitchen had become dull and unsafe so our new sets have allowed us to more safely prepare food for our labs. The spiralizer has allowed us to use vegetables more in our cooking in a fun way.

I hope that by exposing students to healthy practices that they will continue to carry on these skills at home and in their future homes. Being healthy has become an issue in America today so i hope that students are able to grasp why it's so important to stay healthy.”
