The majority of my middle school students come from families with low socioeconomic status who are underrepresented.
They are in critical need of experiencing real life projects every year to be prepared to compete with their global competitors in the near future.
This is important to note to understand the diverse needs they require when they arrive at school. Creating equity in the classroom means providing high quality instruction and resource materials that will allow my students to create the solutions to the real life problems.
