  • Innovate With Coding for Kindergarten!

    Funded Jun 2, 2024

Kindergartners are so curious and love hands on opportunities. Thank you so much for bringing a new way to build curiosity and learning to our younger students! Robots are fascinating creatures and these kiddos are loving them! The kiddos have an opportunity to learn with the robots in their individual classrooms as they learn to code, and also are able to be creative with them during their "play time."

Our kiddos are loving spending time with their new robots, learning to code, patience, perseverance, all great 21st century skills they need to have in this ever changing world. Thank you so much for providing this unique way of learning for our kindergartners!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hamby

  • Creating Strong Mathematicians

    Funded Dec 1, 2022

Our little mathematicians are loving their new manipulatives to learn and grow with! I use these materials with intervention groups and the tools help bring a deeper understanding to concepts and practice much needed skills. They also provide students with a visual and kids love hands on opportunities.

My students were very excited to have new materials to work with, and they love to hear that some has donated to help them become a better mathematician. While I can use these tools with my intervention students they are also available to teachers to use in their classrooms as well.

Thank you so much for your support and investing into the future for our littles!”

  • Dash and Dot to the Robotics Club Rescue!

    Funded Oct 11, 2021

The. Kids. Love. Dash and Dot! They are having so much fun learning their personalities and how to work them. The awesome part is the range of age that loves these robots, I have kindergarten through 5th and the 5th love them just as much as the kindergartners.

Right now students are getting to know the apps and the different functions and behaviors they can have Dash and Dot perform. I love seeing the learning that is involved, the failed attempts help the students grown and test their perseverance as they have to overcome the challenges. This week they have been making mazes for Dash to go through using different paths.

Thank you again for your support to provide students computer science opportunities!”

  • All Things STEM & ROBOTICS

    Funded Jul 24, 2021

Thank you again for donating to this project! Students have been able to design and create with the many resources we were provided for their STEM activities. They have built contraptions to move robots in certain aspects and developed solutions for problems.

The students were extremely pleased that so many people were willing to help them learn in an innovative way and would be willing to donate their hard earned money for them. They love having hands on opportunities to learn and not have to share materials between so many students that they feel they weren't as much a part of the activity.

Thank you again for your wonderful donation to helping students learn!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hamby

  • Develop Mathematical Minds

    Funded Jun 19, 2019

Thank you so much for your generosity! Multiplication and fractions are big concepts for 3rd grade and are commonly frustrating for many students. With the new resource, students are able to grow an understanding and foundation in these two areas that the main resource is not necessarily providing.

My students are always amazed by the idea that others are so willing to help them be successful! They are grateful that strangers, community members and other families are cheering them on to be their best.

My students will continue to need support in big areas of math concepts but are not able to access a new way to understand and learn the concepts thanks to you!

Thank you again for your kindness into our classroom!”

  • Ninjas of Basic Facts

    Funded Feb 28, 2019

In third grade multiplication and division are a huge concept to learn. Many students have a hard time learning them and even more students can often be unmotivated to learn them as they are young and do not always see how now effects their future.

The Ninja Belt is a great way to keep students motivated and positive about learning their facts. They are able to track their learning and watch their progress as they grow and learn.

My students are always amused that strangers and people outside of school are willing to help them be successful. Thank you so much for your generosity and helping my students be successful!”

  • Movement & Space

    Funded Jan 18, 2019

The students were so excited to get the new chairs for our small group table! They are able to move in and out of the table without causing a problem to a classmate or getting caught on their chair. They love the fact that they can now wobble around while they are learning in small group as well.

Every step that can be made to ensure the quality of learning for a child is so important. Thank you so much for your generosity of providing my kiddos with these wobble chairs. Students are able to work with more ease of space and move their core while learning to help keep them engaged. Again, thank you for your donation and willingness to help kiddos be better everyday!”

  • STEM=Hands-on Learning!

    Funded Aug 22, 2018

It was so exciting to receive the materials from this project. Budgets are so tight that it is very difficult to provide my students hands on learning opportunities because of lack of resources and materials. My students will now have new and engaging learning to our science and reading standards from the Hands On Kits we have received.

Students are always amazed that people they do not even know are willing to help in their education. You have not only impacted their learning in STEM, but have enhanced my teaching of Social Science of being a good citizen.

So thank you again for your generosity to my classroom and to our future generation!”

  • Flexible Seating for Flexible Students

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Oh...the excitement when all of those boxes came to our classroom!!! This was the first year that I have implemented a flexible seating arrangement, and I have found that the stability balls are definitely a favorite. I never have enough to give the kids their first choice of seating with the stability balls, but now I will thanks to you.

The stability balls that I currently have are able to roll around which has caused a slight problem at times, but these new stability balls will still give the students the movement they need without rolling around the room. Kids need to move and wiggle throughout the day, stability balls provide that safe needed movement for students that need it throughout the day and for students that need it at times.

Again, I thank you for your generosity, the kids and I are thrilled to have this resource to help them be more successful and engaged in the classroom!”
