This field lesson will take a group of our 7th and 8th graders to the Brooklyn Robot Foundry to build their own robots! The Made from Scratch class they will take is designed to introduce students to the basic engineering concepts of circuitry and vibration. During this field lesson students will get to put their problem solving skills to work as they design, build, and experiment with their own vibrating robots! Our students have been able to take coding classes during the school year and this opportunity will allow them to continue building on their experiences from class. I can't wait to see their excitement over such an interactive trip!

About my class
