My students live in a very impoverished neighborhood and have not had access to very much technology used in class settings. They range in age from 14 to 18. I have natural athletes in my class and students who cannot perform one single push up. Even though they are at various fitness levels they have all written personal goals they hope to accomplish before the end of the school year. They want to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle by improving their nutrition and becoming more physically active.
