• Home Away From Home!

  Thank you so much for your donations! My students were so excited to get their area rug, seats, and pencil sharpener. Thanks to you, we have these lovely, colorful, and comfortable seats in the library. Before these, arrived, the students could only read their books on their desks. Now they have a lovely carpet and these child friendly seats. It makes the library so inviting. A place just for them. This area will last for years and years!

  The sharpener has also been an absolute god send. Before the sharpener arrived, I would have to go sharpen the pencils in the main office.n The sharpener is so powerful too. It sharpens so good! I couldnlt have chosen a better one.

• One, Two, Three More Please!

  Thank you very much for your help and support. My students have definitely been benefiting from having the wifi printer in the classroom. As their teacher, it has helped me differentiate my instruction to cater to the different needs in my classroom.

  For example, in the 3rd grade, memorization of times tables is a very important skill that must be learned. At this point in the year, some kids have mastered the skill, and are ready to move on, whereas others still need more practice. I am able to use the printer to accommodate to the different levels in my classroom. All are being challenged in their own way.

  I want to express my gratitude towards your generous donation. Thanks to your generosity, I have been able to incorporate tablets into my daily classroom instruction. The Acer Tablets have a variety of endless functions that we have been able to use. We use the camera for holiday projects and even to take the pictures you see here! Also, the Internet is used for numerous activities, especially to research information. But most importantly, the students love to get their hands on these Tablets, and use the fun and educational apps that I have downloaded for them. They are so engaged as they read interactive stories, play math games, learn sight words, and work on grammar, test taking skills, and much more. Once again, thank you so very much for making this possible! Thank you for helping bring up-to date technology into our classroom. These students are truly grateful for these Acer tablets! And happy students make for a happier teacher!
