To start, I want to say thank you!

Your donation has allowed me to purchase leveled readers, as well as nonfiction readers and materials for our Listen to Reading station. I can't put into words how the materials truly transformed station time in my first grade classroom!

Before incorporating the new materials, my students were frustrated and didn't enjoy reading independently during station time. Although I had a collection of leveled books, it wasn't large enough for students to have options when picking their independent reading books. Now that we have a library of books on a variety of levels and topics, our time is focused and worthwhile. Reading has become a special time in my classroom...my first graders are learning to love books and reading!
