The students at my school live in a high poverty area. All the students receive free school lunch. We are also a Title I school. Teachers this year are required by the school district to assess the students' performance throughout the school year with technology such as tablets and notebooks. The problem is that teachers are not going to be provided with tablets and notebooks. Some of us are asked to purchase from our own pockets for these projects. If my students are not able to access these assessments online, they will have no scores to show whether or not they are progressing during intervals during the school year.
