I am excited to say that I have an awesome group of three & four year old preschoolers who come into the classroom with many different unique personalities & styles of learning. Some of my preschoolers are visual learners, kinesthetic learners, & auditory learners. My visual learners learn best when they can see a visual representation of what they are learning. My kinesthetic learners are eager to show what they know. They are my learners who are in motion showing me & moving their body creatively to express their ideas. You may observe my auditory learners anxiously self-talking, orally sharing what they are learning, or relying on me to explain & model. My preschoolers learn best when they have many opportunities to engage in activities that are rigorous, hands-on & meaningful. They prefer repeated experiences with modeling.The majority of my students & family members are from the southwest side of Chicago. Most of my students & family members come from a low socio-econonmic status.
