My classroom is made up of students in grades 3-5. They deal with disabilities and events from their past that cause them not to be able to handle being in a general education classroom for the full day. My students are just like your students or students you see going to and from school on a daily basis. They are awesome young people that given a chance will grow up and be contributing members of society. They might struggle more than some of their peers but that is not a reason for them not to have access to the same materials. Our school is a public school in Colorado. These students are anxious and ready to read and dive deep into good books.
