Over the past 2 years I spent much of my own money purchasing items to make my classroom a flexible learning environment (comfy chairs, couch pillows, rugs). This year, due to COVID and sanitization rules, I am not able to use any of these items in my classroom. I did learn, however, that my young students thrive when they have flexible seating options. I would love to provide washable, flexible seating for my students. In addition, our students are using their headphones much more than normal, and their school-issued sets are already falling apart. Durable headsets would make a huge difference in their digital learning this year.
