  • No More Rolling Pencils!

    Funded Aug 19, 2022

It is with great pleasure to share some of the impact the pencil boxes have provided for the students in the classroom. First of all, they love the colors and the slim design for their little hands. The pencils boxes are double sided and provide excellent organizational options for the students. There are no rolling pencils, crayons, or erasers on the floor. They can quickly identify their boxes by color and it makes in easier to find them. Thank you so much for caring for the social emotional development of the kinder students in the class. They can focus on the learning and classwork and not the missing pencils!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Villegas

  • Brain Power

    Funded Aug 7, 2022

Our class is learning so much and having a fantastic time using flash cards from the stock paper both at home and in the classroom. They have used the cards to practice sight words and make sentences. They enjoy working in groups to show what they know. They are helping each other when the words are forgotten. When students get the flash cards they can easily cut them and practice using scissors. We will use the card stock to make letter cards to build words as we progress to reading small words and manipulating letters. This is a critical part of learning about sounds and spellung patterns.

Thank you again for your donation.”

  • Paper Emergency! Please Help.

    Funded Oct 23, 2009

I am left without words to express my sincere gratitude for your generosity, especially in these times of need. My students love the supplies! They use the supplies to complete the basic activities required on a day to day basis. They love the colorful and motivational pencils so much that they keep count of them daily! They also love the expo markers and use them over and over again while learning math. The writing paper is perfect for teaching them proper letter formation. I can finally see some improvement. The writing paper is colorful and they love that it doesn't rip when they erase. Not to mention the dog erasers. They are fantastic and also decorate the top of their pencils. Many students just love coming to school because of the supplies they get to use in the classroom. I truly appreciate the copy paper so that I can provide my students with lots of practice in math, science, reading, and grammar. You are truly our hero. I hope you can see their happiness in the pictures posted on the website. Know that your donation has impacted my students and that impact will last a lifetime.”

  • Paper Needed!

    Funded Dec 24, 2008

Wow! I have no words to demonstrate my deep appreciation for your wonderful support. It's Christmas today and I am so full of joy with this wonderful gift from you. My students will also be truthfully happy when I tell them of the gift. Our economy seems to be so dreadful and full of doubt. But there you are, Hope. We will be able to complete so many projects in math, science, social studies, and language arts with this gift. I will be able to provide writing journals for all of my students with the proper paper format! We will use science journals to pretend to be scientist and we will embark on our journey to proficiency in math. You will never regret your generosity to these loving children. Once again, thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for being so generous to those in need.

  • Imagination At Work

    Funded Apr 12, 2008

I am filled with an overwhelming sensation of gratitude due to your generosity. You are fabulous! You've demonstrated that you would like to spark the imagination of my second grade students. My students will be busy creating math and science connections with the supplies that have been ordered. With your donation my students will be able to learn the difficult science concepts that are usually scary to them. I can't wait to get them started with the supplies and see their happy little faces light up with the joy of having their own art supplies.

Thank you so very much for being there for us.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. ”

I enjoy extending the learning beyond the normal expectations as a teacher and like to integrate Science, Social studies, math, literacy, and art into the daily schedule. I enjoy making the learning fun and engaging for all students. I believe all students should be given the opportunity to succeed, no matter the area they live in.
