Your generous gifts have helped put lots of books in my students' hands! They have been so eager to read and bring the books home to enjoy over the weekend.
Some of the texts are biographies that connect to the social studies themes we are working with this year. Students are so excited to be able to add details and context about the lives of the change-makers we are studying. Thanks to the new books, students are excited to get to their seats to do independent reading and apply the skills and strategies that we have been practicing in class.”
