My students are from varied backgrounds. Some students have never even been out of the city, and some have never been out of the state. Our school contains approximately 600 3rd and 4th grade students. This allows our school to focus on developmentally appropriate activities and programs for our students. There aren't many programs in the city for the children unless they are affiliated with the schools, or day cares. We are far from major cities, and really have a very traditional and slow paced life that some may consider "behind the times".
