  • Community Building and Memory Making

    Funded Sep 5, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation! You have made it possible for our school community to make lasting memories at our annual STEAM Day and Math Carnival.

This is a day the students look forward to every year. It would not be possible without your generous donation. The fifth graders will make t-shirts to remember the last year of the elementary school career. They will wear these t-shirts at the end of the year events such as the Math Carnival where they lead math-inspired games for the younger students.

    Thank you so very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Taylor

  • Put the A in STEAM

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our annual STEAM Day. The day was amazing in part due to the materials you provided.

The high school art club was able to use the materials to lead a STEAM activity with our preschool through fourth graders. In this activity, students used a marker, a cd, and physics to create colorful drawings.

The high school students enjoyed this day just as much as the elementary students. It was a great day of learning as well as a celebration of a successful school year coming to an end.”

  • STEAM Carnival

    Funded Nov 8, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our school's annual Math Carnival! The students look forward to this event every year and being able to update our supplies has been a wonderful surprise for them! The fifth graders have done a wonderful job using the new materials to reinvent some of the math games we have been using for a while now. The younger students loved the fresh face paint and using the tickets they earned to "buy" popcorn. We could not have provided such an amazing event for our students without your support. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!”

  • Show What You Know!

    Funded Apr 17, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. The place value white boards are exactly what our second graders need to help develop their conceptual understanding of place value and apply it to adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers.

Because of your donation, each of our second grade classrooms were able to receive a class set of these whiteboards. Students will be able to use these whiteboards during whole group and small group lessons as well as individually when working on independent assignments.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much!”

  • Making Math Meaningful

    Funded Feb 8, 2023

We were SO excited to receive all of the awesome math materials. Thank you for supporting our learning! The first graders could not wait to open the resources and put them to use. The manipulatives will help the students learn our concepts in a very hands-on way.

We have already begun using the materials provided through this project to help reinforce important math concepts and practice new skills that we are learning. Your generosity has truly made a difference for our students.

    Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Taylor

  • Math in the Palm of Your Hand!

    Funded Jan 12, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom. Fractions, decimals, and percents are notoriously difficult concepts for fifth graders to learn. Having these hands on manipulatives will help my students to visualize and develop their conceptual understanding of what a fraction, decimal, and percent really is. We will use these manipulatives in our classroom almost every day throughout the school year as these are the big concepts in the fifth grade curriculum. Once again, thank you so much for your generosity. It means so much to both me and my students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Taylor

  • Organization for Student Success!

    Funded Aug 11, 2020

Thank you so much for your generosity. It means so much to me. Even more so now that I received news that I will be a classroom teacher in order to ensure smaller class sizes with social distancing.

Being out of the classroom and working in the role as a support/service provider has left me with minimal classroom supplies. The items purchased through the project you funded will help me build a warm, welcoming classroom. The bins that were purchased will be able to be assigned to individual students. The students can use these to organize their materials seeing as how community supplies will not be allowed this school year.

Once again, thank you so much for your generosity! It truly has eased the stress of having to re-enter the classroom during a school year that was already sure to be full of challenges.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Taylor

  • Calculate a Difference

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so much from the bottom of my and my students' hearts. Your donation will have a direct, immediate, positive impact on my students. Through the calculators you have so generously donated to my classroom, the students will be able to challenge themselves with higher level, complex, real world math problems. The students will be able to spend their brain power on solving these problems as opposed to working through the calculations. At this point in their academic career, my students have mastered calculations and that time will be better spent on rigorous problems. You are helping to shape our future.. and it sure looks bright!”

  • Make Math Fun!

    Funded Jan 25, 2018

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you all! I am so grateful for the materials you have provided my students. As the Elementary Math Academic Intervention Service Provider, I meet with small groups of students who are struggling to understand the concepts being taught during their math instruction. These games will allow me to engage the students in a fun and interactive way with the concepts they need to review and practice. I have already had the opportunity to use some of the games with my students. The students loved them! There were cheers and exclamations of "This is so fun!" I cannot wait to see students transfer what they are practicing through these games back into their classroom. Once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your generosity.”
