I would like to THANK YOU very much. Our students are able to start creating and writing code for these robots. The students are now able to get into smaller groups and have more hands on individual time.

The smaller groups have gone on great and I am able to get more coding and interest into the class.

The oohs and ahhs with the laughing is what drives these kids and they have a new found passion.

Anyway, I would like to conclude how much I appreciate the gift and I am looking forward to many more more student engagements as the year progresses.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Cole

I would like to THANK YOU very much. In normal years, this summer stem camp would have been full of students creating and writing code for these robots. The pandemic came and stopped my camp dead in its tracks and had no camp to show how this wonderful gift would mean to my students.

Normally we start with basic robot and simple commands. By the end of the week, these kids have figured out how to make a remote control out of one brain brick and robot out of the other. Then we build a ring and the kids do robot wars.

The oohs and Ahhhs with the laughing is usually how the week ends and they have a new found passion.

Anyway, I would like to conclude how much I appreciate the gift and I am looking forward to (crossing fingers) to next summers Science Camp to use this hopefully many more for more student engagement.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Cole

We are looking to purchase 2 Lego EV3 Intelligent Bricks for students to use in Science classes and camps. These bricks are part of the Mindstorms robot kits by Lego. The purpose of this technology is to program Lego robots to do specific tasks by coding. It will replace the nine year old non-functional NXT Intelligent Brick that are no longer supported from Lego Mindstorms. As these are very durable and last many years to reach the many students year in and year out. These Intelligent Bricks provide very important coding skills as well as problem solving techniques. Especially in today's world more than ever.
