  • Our Superheroes Are Ready for Virtual Distance Learning!

    Funded Aug 18, 2020

THANK YOU for spreading love and positivity during the Covid-19 world pandemic. This pandemic has affected every single person on this earth in one way or another, but you all have joined me in such a time as this to shine our light.

My students were so excited to receive their supplies and books. Because of your donations my class started off the school year being 100% prepared. They did not miss a beat. The phonics and sight words notebooks were such a success. They enjoyed doing activities and they also mastered the concept.

This donation also helped my parent financially.”

  • Working Little Kids Minds Into Financial Literacy

    Funded Jul 29, 2019

I truly don't know how to begin to express my gratitude for the donations to our classroom.

The students were so thrilled to see the huge boxes being delivered to our classroom; of course the students had lots of questions and were curious about what was in the boxes. Once I opened the boxes it was breathtaking to see their little faces shine like a star.

My first graders are beginning to grasp financial literacy during math because of you. It is never too early to learn about financial literacy. They are learning math concepts such as number sense, counting, addition, identifying money, and how to use the money wisely. The money and cash register has been helping them reinforce life learn lessons. These resources also have been helping my students to learn how to identify money and how to use it wisely. Thank you for once again for all the donations.”

  • No More Hungry Tummies!

    Funded Sep 1, 2019

I truly don't know how to begin to express my gratitude for the donations to our classroom. My students are starting school earlier this year and sometimes we have some students that are tardy and causes them not to eat breakfast. These items has helped diminish significant triggers that can interfere with the learning environment. This donation has helped me feed my students when they are not served breakfast in the morning. This project will help our classroom sail through the end of the year with ease and help us remain our tummies full and stay focus on a daily bases.

The students were so thrilled to see the huge boxes being delivered to our classroom; of course the students had lots of questions and were curious about what was in the boxes. Once I opened the boxes it was breathtaking to see their little faces shine like a star. They have never seen so many healthy snacks in the classroom.

This project has allowed my students to focus tremendously on their studies and not worry about not having nothing to eat. It also provided a tremendous amount of relief as a teacher. I don't have to worry hunting for food while I'm in the middle of teaching. My students have access to the healthy snack box, so while i'm teaching they can automatically get a snack and start eating without disturbing instruction.”

  • Helping Students With School Essentials Due to Hurricane Harvey

    Funded Jun 25, 2019

I truly don't know how to begin to express my gratitude for the donations to our classroom. My students color, glue, write and use their primary notebooks all day every day. These items help diminish significant triggers that can interfere with the learning environment. This donation will help our classroom sail through the end of the year with ease and help us remain focused on our academic progress.

The students were so thrilled to see the huge boxes being delivered to our classroom; of course the students had lots of questions and were curious about what was in the boxes. Once I opened the boxes it was breathtaking to see their little faces shine like a star. They have never seen so many glue sticks, colors, markers, and construction paper in their life.

This project has allowed my students to focus tremendously on their studies and not worry about not having materials to work with. It also provided a tremendous amount of relief to my parents because they didn't have to worry about repurchasing school supplies after Hurricane Harvey.

The resources and materials are being used daily in our classroom. A lot of my first grade assignments and works are very authentic, so we have been using a lot of construction paper, crayons to color, and glue to glue their wonderful work. We also have been using the primary notebooks daily for our interactive assignments. These primary notebooks have helped a lot with their writing skills. They are being exposed to the headline, midline, and baseline to write correctly and neatly. The students have an opportunity to clean and wipe their tables with the Clorox wipes that we ordered without feeling left out. This product was greatly appreciated because this keeps my room germ free. Fortunately, everyone has been in school daily which means PERFECT ATTENDANCE for our classroom. They have not lost any instruction time.”

  • Building a Love for Literacy after Hurricane Harvey!

These resources have benefited my student's ability to reach their mastery level for phonics, language arts, and reading. These materials are decoding words, rhyming, and building words. All of this materials has helped my students reach their high critical thinking skills. They are also learning through the investigation, discovery, exploration, and application of all of the materials, but most importantly my kiddos are engaged in differentiated activities everyday thanks to you all.”

    Funded Sep 30, 2018

I truly don't know how to begin to express my gratitude for the donations to our classroom. Having a brand new carpet will help diminish significant triggers that can interfere with the learning environment. This donation will help our classroom tremendously.

The students were so thrilled to see the huge colorful carpet that was delivered to our classroom; of course the students had lots of questions and were curious if that was our brand new carpet. I had to explain to them that the carpet was ours. It was breathtaking to see their little faces shine like a star.

This project has allowed my students to focus tremendously during whole group and not worry about sitting on a cold floor.

Once again, thank you for all the donations:)”

The students that make up my classroom are 99% low income and at risk for dropping out before finishing high-school. Many of our students have been affected by Hurricane Harvey and are struggling emotionally and financially due to being displaced. They are students who have been not given the resources or motivation for academic success. There is very little literacy provided at home. They are precious children who are willing to learn, if only given the opportunity.
