  • Ready for Reading!

    Thank you so much for funding READY FOR READING! Reading is so important and students need to be engaged in what they are reading to become strong readers. Funding this project has given our class books on countless topics to engage each and every student in our class.

    The students were so excited to open the boxes. With all of the remote learning, holding physical books was very exciting. As a teacher, it was wonderful to see that all of the students found a book(s) that they were eager to read at their reading level. We even found books for a few reluctant readers that they really wanted to read!

    Having enough books on many topics and many different reading levels is always a challenge in our classroom. I can't thank you enough for helping my students!!”

    The classroom library is the heart of the classroom. This project added many interesting fiction and non-fiction books of various reading levels allowing all of the students to read a new and interesting book! The students love looking through the books and take care in choosing a just right book. These books help to instill the love of reading.   • Sit, Move, Focus, Learn!

    Thank you so much for the cushions!! The students were so excited when the boxes were delivered to the room. They couldn't wait to see what was inside. I explained how we were able to get them and the students couldn't believe that people that don't even know us cared about helping our classroom! They were so excited.

    They are using the cushions all day. We have harder ones and soft ones. Each child is able to get the cushion that helps them. They can carry them all over the room wherever they are working. It has really helped the students to focus.

    These are awesome! Every classroom should have them. We can't thank you all enough. You have helped awesome third grade students and they are very appreciative!”

  • Busy Classroom Needs Bouncy Bands!

    Thank you so much for all of the bouncy bands! The students were so excited when they arrived. They couldn't wait to open up the boxes. Every student helped to carefully place them on their desk/chair. I had never seen so much cooperation. They took it so seriously. They each patiently waited for help and before we knew it, they were all on.

    It was amazing to see how much they helped. They especially helped during longer testing situations. During state testing, I could look around the room and most students had their legs bouncing quietly as they focused on their work. Students need to move and these make it so the students can focus better because they are not uncomfortable from sitting too long. These will last for many years and help so many students. We so appreciate the kindness and caring you all have shown for our classroom.”

  • Ravenous Readers Need Books!

    The students were so excited to receive these books! Some of these books were social emotional learning books.

    We use these books to teach skills to all of the students during morning meeting time. They have loved them. The discussion that comes from these books is incredible. The understanding they provide is invaluable.

    The students are enjoying the many non-fiction books during reading. They are learning about people, places, history, and animals. They are also learning about writing non-fiction and use of text features as well. These books have helped get my students interested in reading!! They have learned so much and they are used by the whole class.

  • Stability Disks Around The Classroom!

    Thank you!! I am so grateful to you all for helping to fund this project.

    I had only a few cushions and they helped some students so much, that I really wanted

    all of the kids who benefited from them to have them.

    The students were so excited to receive the bouncy bands and stability cushions!

    The classroom is certainly buzzing with quiet movement. The students can use the cushions

    at their desks, at the tables, and on the rug. They are so portable!

    It is amazing to see how much these items help the students. The bouncy bands help the students

    bodies to move while they are concentrating on their work. Without your help, we would not

    have these items. A million thanks!”
