  • Relax and Review!

    Funded Mar 25, 2025

Thank you so very much for providing a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help me plan wonderful activities to keep my students engaged in learning during testing review time! Also, the calm strips will help my students to focus their anxiety on. This will go a long way to helping them put their focus in the right direction of doing their best on the test!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Greene

  • Let's Practice Math

    Funded Nov 13, 2024

Thank you so very much for providing the gridded dry erase boards and new dry erase markers for my classroom. The Expo markers have been a complete time saver! I don't have students telling me every minute that their dry erase marker is out of ink and asking for a new one. These markers are full of longevity! The students have greatly appreciated the variety of color for graphing lines on their boards. The Ultra Fine tip have allowed them to practice adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing while respecting place values. Thank you again for providing these wonderful tools for my students. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Greene

  • Rehydrate and Accelerate!

    Funded Aug 30, 2024

Thank you so very much for providing the addition of hydration to my classroom. Students can now fill their water bottles with cold water any time they'd like. They are no longer leaving my room to go get a drink of water. They are no longer complaining about being thirsty or the water tasting bad. The number of headaches and stomachaches in my classroom has been greatly reduced. This means more time in class and more time on task. This will increase students' success in not only math class but all of their classes. Thank you so very much for your contribution to making this a successful project. Your generosity is making a difference!”

    Mrs. Greene

  • Picture Books for Math

    Funded May 25, 2024

Thank you so very much for providing books for math classroom. It is amazing to see what happens when you introduce or reinforce a math concept with a picture book. Fifth graders may be 10 and 11 years old, but something magical happens when you pull out a picture book to read to them. It seems like every day someone walks into my classroom and says, "Do you have a book for us today?" Their eyes light up when the answer is yes and the disappointment is obvious when I say no. It is greatly appreciated that I have these materials thanks to you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Greene

  • Math Basics

    Funded May 10, 2024

Thank you so very much for providing these items so that I could create tools for my classroom. The laminating pouches have allowed me to create durable, reusable grid paper for my students to practice new concepts such as three digit by two digit multiplication and four digit divided by two digit division. They stay organized when they are comparing decimals using the grid paper.

The construction paper was used to create math tools placemats with all of the reference materials a math student could hope for. The glue sticks allow students to glue notes into their journals.

Thank you so very much for making these contributions to my classroom. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!”

  • Visualizing Math

    Funded May 9, 2024

Thank you so very much for providing ink, transparencies, and the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card for my math classroom this year. Being able to print decimal models on transparencies in color has allowed my students to see how the decimals compare. They have been able to lay the transparencies on top of one another to see which one covers more space. This has brought the abstract concept of decimals to a more concrete model. Also, the resources that I have purchased with the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card have added so much engagement to the lessons in my classroom. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated!”

  • Sit and Spin in Science 3

    Funded Dec 14, 2023

Isn't it amazing when you see students working collaboratively in a place where they are comfortable and happy? Thanks to your generous donation of these fabulous tractor seat stools, that environment is my science classroom. Students have the opportunity to sit in one of these stools every other day thanks to the addition of 4 stools because of you. I notice the positive impact most at the end of the day or during times where students are expected to stay focused and quiet. The rolling stools give students a chance to twist and turn silently to help center their mind by having a busy body. It is amazing how wonderful it is. Thank you so very much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Greene

  • Sit and Spin in Science 2

    Funded Nov 6, 2023

Thank you so very much for your generous donation to my classroom. These tractor seat stools have been a game-changer in my classroom. When students begin 5th grade in my district, they are thrust into longer school days, changing classes based on a bell schedule, shorter lunch times, and no recess breaks. This is a challenge for some students who need the opportunity to move in classrooms where teachers are limited on instructional minutes. In my classroom, students have the opportunity to move by twisting in their seats thanks to these tractor seat stools. Thank you so much for enhancing their learning environment through your generous donation.”

  • Sounds and Colors

    Funded Sep 17, 2023

Thank you so very much for your generous donation to this project. It is so very gracious of you to contribute to the education of my students through projects with DonorsChoose. Each student got to have their choice of color of earbuds, which makes locating them very quick. They are able to easily access these needed materials to individualize their instruction at any time.

The markers have allowed my students and myself to create projects, color code diagrams and notes, and create anchor charts throughout the classroom. Thank you for your contribution to quality learning in my classroom. You are so greatly appreciated!”
