We are so grateful that you funded our project. The student's knowledge and experiences with technology have blossomed. They always look forward to coming into the computer lab. Their level of understand is increasing everyday thanks to you and your genorousity.
The students are using several programs to increase their math and reading comprehsion. Among those programs are Fast Math, Orchard, Treasures, and Science quiz show. This year we are adding Lexia Core 5. This program allows students to work at their own level and teachers can track their progress. It is used as in intervention tool. The extra computer was a welcome addition to our lab. My goal is to have enough computers for every student and you have set us in that direction.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. The impact has been so positive. My reluctant learners are excited to read and learn about science using our Smart board and they are even doing research projects with great enthusiasm. Most of my students are so excited about our daily science game time. They are learning while doing something they really love to do...playing on the Smart board.
Your generous contribution will have a wonderful effect on more students as we use the technology to incorporate science into our language arts programs. Your wonderful generosity is very much appreciate by my students and myself.”

I would like to thank each and every one of our donors who contributed to our project. We are so grateful to all of you. My students are so excited to have new technology in our classroom.
I believe that the best time to teach students how to use the latest technology is when they are young. I know that I am better preparing my students for their futures by teaching them how to use the latest technology.
Thank you again for your generous donations. It is because of donors such as yourselves that we are able to have the latest technology in our classrooms.”

am so grateful for you donations to help enrich my students learning experience. It has been very exciting to use the netbooks and rock samples to meet the needs of my students. I believe that it is important to use technology and hands on activities in the classroom to keep the students interest and spark motivation. Technology keeps growing and because of the budget cuts that have effected our area, it is hard to supply the students with the materials they need to succeed. Your donation to this project will allow me to to this. Without your generosity I could not do what my heart wants to do for my students. Thank you again.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation towards my classroom. The additional response units from Smarttech that you donated for my students use, has been a tool that has helped them immensely.
They each now have their own responder and no longer have to share with another student. The response units are being used in all my classes, from beginners in Algebra to advanced students.
My students are working independently and are able to provide answers and feedback quickly to reinforce the concepts that are being discussed in class.
Learning Algebra is such an abstract and difficult concept for so many students and your gift will help us to bridge that gap.
Our school is experiencing tough financial times (and so is the whole state), my students would not have been able to receive funding for these resources without your generosity. My students are thrilled that there are caring people out there like Chevron who want to help out classrooms in need.
Donors like Chevron, help classrooms, all across the United States become better by helping us directly with resources to further our students education.”

Words cannot describe the happiness and joy that I feel for your donation to my project. My students are enjoying the document camera as it has greatly improved their ability to see what I am teaching in class. With the use of the document camera in my class, each and every student can see everything that I am writing and pointing to during the day. The document camera has allowed my students who need glasses, an opportunity to see what is written up on the board from any place in the room. Thank you for believing in my project.
I appreciate the donation from Chevron to my class. My students have come to school happier and more excited to learn because of the document camera!
Thank you so very much.”

Thank you for our talking microscopes! These microscopes will add even more technology to the lives of my students. We will use our new microscopes to work on grade level science themes such as living things like plants and animals. These microscopes will provide the class with independent instruction using oral and printed materials.
This letter is sent to you with the greatest of thanks! My students are ecstatic with the opportunity to have additional technology through the use of our new talking microscopes in our classroom. Students now have greater access to science materials by listening and viewing the materials provided by this tool. These microscopes are a boon to our learning environment. It is so gratifying to know that there are still people out there who are thoughtful and generous towards teachers and students.
I want to let you know how much we appreciate your donations that have helped us fund this project. Because of your gracious support, we will have a microscopes in our classroom to use and enjoy.
Thank you again for your generous support.”

I and my students are overwhelmingly thankful for your donation of classroom technology. Every day my students are taught using that technology. Several have parents who work for Chevron, and some have thanked their parents directly for the support.
Students are engaged and enjoy interacting with technology greatly. The number of student volunteers in my class has skyrocketed. Any time a student gets to interact I see a lot of "V's" raised in the air for student volunteers. Some students even raise a "V" hand in anticipation of a volunteer opportunity.
Additionally, students are able to visually see, and manipulate concepts as never before. Just last week, students built a protein by producing mRNA, moving it to the ribosome and matching tRNA pieces (with attached amino acids) in order. Previously, students matched base pairs of DNA using the same technology, and have completed Punnett Squares to describe outcomes of a genetic cross. This would not have been possible without your donation.
You have made numerous 7th graders happy and better educated thanks to your generous donation. The 180 students a day are touched by your generosity and will continue to be.”

I cannot thank you enough for these two tablets purchased for me. They have been used by my students in some interesting ways. I also want to thank you for the extension of time. It has been put to good use.
Shortly after receiving the tablets my teaching assignment was changed. Due to this change, the tablets were not as useful as they would have been.
I decided that the tablets would be more useful to the math teachers. I, therefore, donated the tablets to these teachers for use in their classes. They immediately put the tablets to use in their rooms. This gives them 3 tablets each rather than two. Both of
these teachers, and their students, have expressed their thanks to me for the donation.”

You would not believe the impact you have made in my class room. The K'ÂÂNEX and tablet provided through your generosity has created an environment of wonder, curiosity and risk takers. This center is the most popular center because the students love creating and building structures and items. I don'ÂÂt know how many varieties of guitars, swings, cars, bridges, and windmills I have seen. The creations are endless. With the tablet the students first think of an item and then view an image of it. From here they begin to construct the K'ÂÂNEX to simulate the image. It is this reason that the students finish their class work quickly and race over to the KÂÂ'NEX and tablet center.
The greater impact of your gift is such that it has created an environment of scientific inquiry where students are free to explore, discover and design. At this young age we are already developing scientific minds. This was all made possible from your donation and your support for education.”
