On behalf of the student body and staff, I would like to thank you for helping us secure a projector for our music room. With limited funding for the arts and our recent budget cuts, it is a blessing to be able to count on individuals, like you, to ensure that our students receive the materials they need. Your generous gift will launch our classroom into the 21st century (albeit, a little late) so that we can explore the sounds and sights of music!

This projector will allow us to experience music visually and learn from the some of the greatest musicians in history. We have already used the projector to look at music scores up-close, experience choral performances from all over the world, and discover the work of the "Recycled Orchestra" of Paraguay. As our year progresses, we will experience "Beatlemania" first hand through film of the Beatles' Shea Stadium concert, understand the beauty of Maria Callas' singing by watching her perform in 1950's Paris, and watch as Arturo Toscanini conducts Beethoven's 9th in 1948. We will able to virtually tour the great musical cities of Europe and explore the concert halls of the world. You have allowed us to see the great musical masters in action and get a closer look at some of the world's most musically significant sites.

Thank you so much for supporting school music. In this day of declining budgets, your help is appreciated now more than ever. My students and I have greatly enjoyed playing our new glockenspiels since they arrived this fall. These new instruments have already been used by students from Pre-Kindergarten through Sixth grade, playing everything from steady beat to jazz-style improvisation.

My students are also greatly appreciative of the new equipment. You would be pleased to see how gently they treat our new glockenpiels. I am sure many students will be able to enjoy playing these great instruments for many years to come.”

My students and I are very appreciative for the generous donations our class received! The radio, multiple headphones, and junction box add a nice component to our listening center. With the new additions my students can now listen to audio books simultaneously instead of one or two at time, which makes group instruction more engaging.

My students have many different learning modalities with the most prominent being musical (audio), and visual. Thank you for helping my students get the opportunity to show their best potential.

So very sorry for the delay in completing the Thank You package. It was difficult getting permission slips for all of the students who participated.

Once again thank you so much for your generosity in purchasing the beautiful violins for my students. This school year is off to a good start. Unfortunately we lost our original violin teacher due to budget cuts. But fortunately we did get another teacher. Not as many students are able to participate but at least the students who have taken violin lessons for the last three years are able to continue.

At the end of last year the students put on a wonderful concert that was well attended by parents and other community members. This year they are tuning up and practicing for another concert. The first concert will during the holiday season. The students are really looking forward to it.

Having these new violins means so much to the students. Without people like you so many students would go without the finer things in life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Let me start by saying thank you very much for your generous donation. With the recorders we received we are able to continue our growth of music at our school.

Sad to say ,but for most of the children, this will be the last formal music education they receive.Having recorders gives them another resource for playing an instrument,learning to read music, and expressing themselves musically. In their thank notes the kids expressed a real joy in having an instrument that is their own.

Because of donors like yourself, the students in my school receive a complete music education of singing,playing instruments,reading music, and learning music history.That is something they will use for the rest of their lives.

So, as the kids would say, thanks for the awesome recorders!!”

I am incredibly grateful for your generous contributions to our music program at Democracy Prep Endurance. Because of your generosity, 112 scholars have instruments to play in music class. It is often understood that during middle school years, children decide that what interests them most and make their life goals. Unfortunately for many schools without music programs, children are never given an opportunity to experience music creation and the incredible discipline it requires. My scholars now have that opportunity with the guitars you helped to fund. They will be used for many years to come. Hundreds of scholars will benefit from your donation. I would like to sincerely thank you for your generous donation to my project. The stereo you have donated has already "pumped up" many of our school events. The new stereo was recently used to pump out fun fiesta music at our Pep Rally!
