  • Teachers Helping Teachers

    Funded Jul 8, 2022

First off I'd like to extend a huge Thank You to all of my donors on this project. After finally getting the gift card codes we were able to get some really good products. They helped so much with the students understanding of the skills. For example, I was about to purchase a Decision Making lesson for my students. Not only did it help with their understanding of a social studies assignment it also included some social emotional learning. Another lesson purchased was to help my students with their comprehension. We used these handouts every morning. Students also had to answer their questions in correct sentences. Overall, this project will help them so much. Thank you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Gilford-Thomas

  • Ink Us!

    Funded Aug 26, 2022

Of course we would like to thank you for donating to our project. We are now able to have enough ink to last us for this school year. I am able to print any last minute items right away instead of having to go down to the copy room. This is extremely convenient and helpful. My students are able to have what they need in full color! This definitely makes their learning more fun, interesting and interactive. Thank you again for donating to this project and ultimately investing in making learning a huge success this year!”

  • VersaTiles Galore!

    Funded Jan 18, 2022

I'd, of course, like to start out by saying Thank YOU again for all of your generous donations to this project! We are super excited about this one. We now have more VersaTiles to use in our class. I introuduced them again to the students and they were excited. I have one student who is showing each person in the class how to correctly use the product. They are a great self-checking tool that we will use for years to come. There are so many different books/skills that can be practiced using these. I enjoy the flexabilitly of them. Once again, thank you!”

  • More Ink Please!

    Funded Sep 23, 2021

Thank you for your donations to this project. We are able to quickly get it funded because of you! We go through a lot of ink each week so this definitely came in handy as we were running low. Having a printer inside of the classroom is a big deal. Not all teachers have this luxury. It allows us to print things on the spot or print extra copies of an assignment. I think that being able to have assignments in color is way better than black and white copies. Thank you again to all that donated to this project!!”

  • Three Cheers for Books!

    Funded Oct 21, 2021

I'd, of course, like to start the letter off with a HUGE Thank You for your donations! Our books finally came in. Now I will be able to gift each kid a book this holiday season. I want my students to love reading. We read daily in our classroom, whether it be for a class read aloud or during work station time when students are at Read to Self. The students who are reading chapter books are excited to have new selections. I will also be using some of these books to simply read for enjoyment at the end of the day. The students love this time of the day. Once again, THANK YOU!”

  • Scholastic News Please

    Funded May 5, 2021

Reading in our class is a daily activity. Being able to read something other than a book is a real treat for them. I think that I was more excited than the kids to receive our subscription! The kids were also excited that they were able to get the magazines. They have aready began to take them home. I let them know that they could be used for daily reading and for pleasure. I hope to instill a love for reading with these magazines. Thank you so much donating to this project. It brings back memories from when I was a kid and was able to get them as well.”

  • TPT Us!

    Funded May 6, 2021

Of course, I'd like to begin by saying, Thank you for your outpouring of support for our class' project. Without the help from generous donors like you, this project would have never been funded. TPT allows me to purchase resources to be used in the classroom. I was able to buy things that I had added to the wishlist. I will be able to use these gift cards for the entire year. I like to purchase book studies to use during small group with my advanced students. They enjoy being able to read and discuss chapter books with me and their group. I look forward to purchase more great resources to be used this year and hopefully the next year as well. Thank you once again!”

  • Organize Us!

    Funded Aug 27, 2021

I'd like to, of course start off by saying Thank You again for all of your generous donations to this project! The students were so excited once the boxes began to roll in. Unfortunately, some of the items were out of stock. However, we were able to get things that we needed like magnetic clips to hang out anchor charts and cute erasers to add to our Desk Pets Pet store. We were also able to get snacks and magnetic shelves to display our end of the day books. We are so grateful for al of these wonderful supplies that we were given. Thank you again for making this project a success!”

  • EOY Gifts!

    Funded May 14, 2021

With a crazy school year going through a pandemic, I'm actually happy that we got to even finish out the school year. Last year, we wasn't so lucky.

Excited and grateful is how my students and I felt once our end of the year items arrived. They don't really know what the items are for but I know once they get them, they will be so happy!

I even went a step further to personalize the bags! I know that they will turn out amazing.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you a thousand times for your generous donation and continued support.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Gilford-Thomas

  • Think Ink!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Id like to start off my saying Thank you for donating to our project! It may not seem like a big project, but having ink for our classroom printer makes everything run so smoothly. I am able to print last minute items with ease, without having to run all of the way to the teacher's workroom. We have enough ink to last us until the rest of the school year. We are also abe to print paper books for them to practice reading at home with. My students were very excited to recieve books on Friday! Thank you again for your continuous gifts!”
