Thank you for all your support. These snacks impacted several people in need. Being able to provide snacks to the local community is a great feeling. Students got a sense of belonging as they prepared the snack bags for others. We are so grateful to be able to provide hunger relief. Not being able to eat should not be a hindrance to Academic performance. Some students Spend more time at school than they do at home. Having snacks to eat is important so that they can continue to focus on their academic performance and excel in core subject matters.”

I appreciate your support of our scholars. They had an amazing time making their kindness bottles. They used their imaginations to create beautiful pictures placed on bottles for classmates. All scholars got to get a water bottle. This not only helped the environment but created green citizens who care about the planet.
This project allowed scholars an opportunity to make a change in the world. One small act of kindness impacted someone's day. One small environmental project was able to help influence 600 families. THANK YOU!”

Students had an amazing time learning to work together to complete task. The games are used for our quarterly dojo parties which give students a chance to be rewarded for their hard work and good behavior throughout the quarter. This is an awesome activity for the scholars. It's a time for students to play some of the games in before and after care enrichment. One of the most exciting things with recently noticed students are playing the card games during their recess and lunchtime. Thank you so much for your support of these scholars.”

These materials were used for some of the many Stem projects that the school offers using the supplies to complete STEM projects. Specifically, the turntable was used to create a amusement park rides for students to use the engineering and design process to create a device that would act as a amusement park while displaying a scene from a book. In the picture, you will see examples of some of the activities that students completed with the supplies. You will see that students had a great time and you will see a lot of hands-on learning and STEM excellence.”

Each year the students of CMIT north elementary participate in a butterfly release event. This event is a real world application for students to learn about the lifecycle of the butterfly. They grow the butterfly in the classroom from the larva stage and then families are invited to a big event where we release the butterfly back into the community. Students learn the importance of pollinators. The snacks provided allow scholars an opportunity to stay fueled up while they worked on one of the many STEM projects they have. Thank you for your support.”

Thank you so much for these resources. As we transition to a full PBIS school, we want to use positive reinforcement to give our scholars the tools they need to be successful. These resources will allow these students to work hard on behavior management.

My students are tech savvy. Before they leave our school I want to make sure they fully understand how important math is to the real world. They are always trying to earn prizes. What better way to encourage financial and math literacy than to encourage them to really look at what it takes earn things. I want my students to be able to fulfill their dream. Two students had the idea to start selling items, so I would like for them to be able to start a school store. My students come from all over Prince Georges county and are the most motivated children I have ever come across. I want to plant a seed in them to help them reach full blossom. My collecting and cashing in roar bucks students will get a taste of the real world!
