  • Creating 21st Century LEADERS with Technology

    I want to thank you SO much for contributing to my project and supporting my classroom! Having this added technology has changed my room drastically! I finally feel like I am adequately supplied to have my students complete their individualized online instruction every week. They love these Chromebooks and are always so eager to go online. These added laptops have helped me create a more technology based classroom, so that I can truly create 21st century leaders! I know my students have such a greater opportunity to advance their skills and be competitive in technological fields.   • Tables and Technology - Creating a Learning Space

    Getting this project funded has completely shifted the flow of my classroom. My students feel more empowered now that they have the choice to choose their seat. This flexible seating helps me meet my students where they are for that day and it gives them the power to take ownership of their learning. Having a standing desk has really helped my students who have more energy and who think better on their feet. The head phones have truly helped make the classroom a little more peaceful and are allowing the students to really focus on their lessons and their lessons only! These items have really helped me transition my classroom into a learning space.”

I love teaching fifth grade! The job is tiring, back-breaking, and sometimes overwhelming, but it is a job I love to do! My students are my favorite people in the world and their families become an extended family for me. I run a free-flowing, creative learning space. Students are in charge of their learning and I just facilitate that learning space for them. I do my best to meet the needs of the students, but there is always more I can do. With your support, that "more" can be possible for me and my students.
