Funded Aug 8, 2018This year we are Re-imagining the Classroom. We want our classroom to look more like 2018. Part of re-imagining the classroom is through more allowing students to become knowledge creators through STEM Bins. These supplies allow students to problem solve, troubleshoot and create through a trial and error format. STEM Bins also help our students become innovative designers. Most students have never had a classroom which was very 21st century. We are excited to continue to re-imagine the classroom this year.”

Re-imagine The Classroom, Part 4 Read Aloud Books
Funded Aug 3, 2018This year we are Re-imagining the Classroom. We want our classroom to look more like 2018. Part of re-imagining the classroom is through more reading options in the classroom. My students love to read and need more grade level books to read independently as well as in read aloud time. Our school has over 90% English Language Learners, which means their first language is not English. These books help our students not only read more, but also begin to read on grade level. We are excited to continue to re-imagine the classroom this year.”

Re-Imagine the Classroom, Part 2
Funded Jul 11, 2018This year we are Re-imagining the Classroom. We want our classroom to look more like 2018. Part of reimagining the classroom is through flexible seating. Flexible seating is not just about comfort. It is about having flexible seating so the learning space can be reconfigured based on the learning activity and needs of the students. Along with this we must also re-envision classroom storage. Book bins are a great way to provide students with a place to put books and notebooks while providing the flexibility of a modern learning space. The students are so excited to have a modern learning space. Most students have never had a classroom which was very 21st century. We are excited to continue to reimagine the classroom this year.
